Shipping, delivery and pricing (terms and conditions)

Payment is required before delivery:

Sydneyside Furniture won’t deliver or install the item unless full payment has been made on the invoice balance. 

This payment can be made before the goods are ready to be delivered, or on the same day that we inform you that items are ready to be shipped. After the goods are ready for delivery, there will be a 14-day grace period. 

Please note, outstanding balances that exceed this 14-day period will incur a daily storage fee of $50 per day. There may also be a storage charge for goods that cannot be delivered within 14 days of production, if this delay is due to the buyer’s circumstances (even if payment has been made).

We accept personal and bank cheques, however these must be cleared before we schedule dispatch services. Our dispatch and installation staff are unable to accept payments.

 

External carriers:

You have the option of hiring external carriers to deliver the goods, however full payment of the invoice balance must be made before we hand over any part of the purchased goods. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that external carriers have additional protective packaging and insurance. If you choose to engage external carriers, there is some risk involved. Please be aware that any damage that occurs with an external carrier is outside the responsibility of Sydneyside Furniture, and may void any refund or warranty eligibility. 

 

Delivery, installation and site accessibility: 

You are fully responsible for making sure that delivery personnel can easily access your premises.

If using our delivery services, Sydneyside representatives will discuss all options to ensure your delivery is completed successfully. However, we reserve the right to charge additional costs for challenging or incomplete deliveries that arise from insufficient access to the property. 

 

A note about Sydneyside’s delivery routes:

Our standard delivery and installation routes cover the majority of the Sydney metro area. If you live outside of this location (including other parts of Australia), we will use a delivery carrier chosen by you. We also suggest that you engage the services of a qualified kitchen or furniture installer, for any installations outside of Sydney metro.

All prices on the Sydneyside website are subject to change without notice. We constantly endeavour to share the most accurate and current information, however one or more items may be mispriced on the rare occasion. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products that have been listed incorrectly.

Terms and conditions of sale

This agreement is subject to the terms and conditions, provided that the term or condition doesn’t breach any applicable law or statute at the time and place of acceptance of this order by Sydneyside Furniture.

 

Contract of sale between Sydneyside Furniture and the buyer:

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the entire agreement (or any part of it) at any time.
